Ryan Pollie Quartet Debut New Release on Perpetual Doom

We’ve spoken to Pollie in the past about projects such as Academy of Light, but his new effort, Ryan Pollie Quartet, totally excites the hysterical hallucinations of Ginsberg’s backfire prose and a near catastrophic instrumentation of dreams and psychology. Pollie has momentarily stepped out of his more usual and focused genre(s) for this limited edition exploration into “morning maniac music”. Prolific and determined, Pollie acts as an esoteric publishing house. Everything that comes out of his camp, or in some relation to his name, is filled with creativity and a sense of complete excitement for the craft. The soundtrack to Planet News, the Ryan Pollie Quartet burns a relatable flame and an almost perfect backdrop to a time that is so far removed from our vocabulary, yet deeply appreciated and often times celebrated by the ones that carefully dip their toes into a pool of benzedrine and lattes. Set to release on the first of December by the fine folks over at Perpetual Doom, the Quartet has released their first single entitled, “Conception”, that softly explores a money making texture and a holiday scheme to high-jack the senses and ear of it’s listeners. Sincere shadows and an almost blinding sense of panic, the album further explores the full rotation of birth, death, the unexplained bardo and a digital reincarnation of sound, chaos and subtle moments of calculated clarity. This release is Walt Whitman’s decapitation and a very public demonstration of prepared madness and hope.
